In order to capture the audience's attention immediately, I chose a picture with strong negative characteristics.  Drawing the audience closer, I challenged their perception. Imbedded on the surface to appear as imperfections, are actually scenes of love, charity, and hope.  The message I tried to convey was, sometimes someone might seem negative at first, but after getting to know that person one gets the opportunity to discover the positive traits that lies in that person.
