In this piece, the theme was "to paint in the manner of..." and I paid homage to Georges Seurat's Seated Woman, using myself as the subject. Seurat's pointillism technique captured my imagination. I was especially intrigued with the way in which Seurat puts contrasting colors closely together so that when the audience looks at the painting, the audience mixes the colors with their eyes.
